Designed as battery pack thermal runaway protection (thermal propagation) material, AP601 is a fiberglass or PET carrier ceramifiable (ceramifying) silicone rubber composite tape.
Like ordinary rubber, silicone rubber and thermoplastic elastomer, it has not only good insulation and elasticity, but also excellent fireproof performance.
AP601 transfers into ceramic-like protective layer in a fire so that it can keep circuit integrity and insulate heat.
